Marathon Call – Great Stuff!

I stayed on the call for the whole six hours last night – WOW! I can’t believe that Alex spends so much time with us students – he is really committed to our success. I find that really motivating – makes me feel like I can really make this Internet thing work after all. I was beginning to have doubts after hanging around the scene for a while. I learned a lot about twitter last night, I had no idea how powerful it is. In the last 10 hours since the end of the call last night, I already have 135 followers. Granted, I am following about 1,000 people but it took me all of 10 minutes to do that. I’m sure more of those 1,000 will reciprocate my follow and grow my list of followers. The real time nature of the communication there is awesome.
I also learned about the power of acting as a group and am very excited about the prospects of what we can accomplish as a group. I strongly belive that if we support and help each other, the sky is the limit for each and every one of us.
I anxiously look forward to working with all of the students in the group and learning all I can about how to become successful in Internet Marketing.
I am in the process of completing the installation of the profit pulling package after which I will put the opt-in box here on the blog.

How’s your traffic plan coming along?!
I have put a post on my blog about traffic tactics that have worked for me so far. One of the best has been Squidoo. I only have one lens on there at present but it has been a high traffic source.
My youtube video has also had a lot of hits and driving traffic to my ppp. I haven’t used twiter to it’s full potential but the tweetmyblog plugin is very effective (details in my post).

Hi Doston,
This is my first visit to your “place” as Perry Belcher describes our blogs.
Congratulations for staying on for the whole time Thursday. That was really fun to watch the live interaction on Twitter. It really brought the power of it home for me when I connected with Mark Joyner. That was a thrill.
Part of my traffic strategy is to spend an hour a day visiting my fellow class mates and find out what I can learn from them and offer help where possible.
The other thing I’m doing is to create videos for explaining/teaching what I’m doing and for goal setting. Mark mentioned using squidoo and that’s also something I’ve been doing for a while.
Well, that’s all for now. I’ll add you to my blog roll when I get “home”.
